Hello. :) Clearly, I'm new here. I have a vegetable garden every year, but this was the first time I've planted some shrubs. All has been easy so far with one exception. I've never planted a willow before, but I've recently planted a black pussy willow (Salix Gracilistylus Melanostachys). Seems fine, but I noticed yesterday that about half the leaves have dried up. I've been watering every other day or so, but I'm presuming I need to water it more. If that is the case, will the leaves grow back yet this season? The stems seems still in good shape, and it's a lovely shrub. Hate to see it wither away, but I'm hoping it's just a matter of needing to water it more often.

Any input is appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback. :) I'll be sure to water it more often. In the meantime, will the leaves grow back still this season?
