Good morning. It is clearer today so should get a little warmer. I am looking forward to that. This morning will be telephone stuff and paperwork.

Thanks for the coffee, Sunflowers! I'm on hold waiting for the IRS to answer. Ugh. Hope I can get this straightened out. They said they didn't receive any income from my spouse but they had already sent me a letter asking me to send in his income form. I sent a copy of his unemployment form showing his income and apparently they didn't receive it. Oy! After I actually get a hold of them, I will start on laundry, make something to eat, and get my grocery list together so I can get that done.

I dislike the IRS. They mess up so often.
I have been on the phone most of the morning working on Teddy stuff. I am still waiting on a phone call now. They make it so difficult to become an adult for these special people.
I should put some laundry in.

Apparently, the form I sent in didn't scan into their computer system and they couldn't read it so they discontinued the claim. Same printer and paper as the original 1040 I mailed them. So, I get to do it all over and send it all in again, as if I hadn't done it yet. Uff da! Other than that I had a pretty good, productive day. Almost all of my laundry is done, grocery shopping is done, cleaned my bedroom really well. I'll strip the bed tomorrow, DH is sleeping on it and it's late anyway. Plan to get up early and take the girls to work so that I can get my run in early and have the rest of the day to finish up laundry and relax. Sweet dreams everyone!

Good Morning.

Very tired here---DD & SIL are here for the weekend. SIL is helping my DH to put on an overhang to a shed we have--so as to afford some protection form the weather & sun for people that might be over & sitting out, and for our Grill.

Good part is I will have my DD here this weekend.--- grin

Oops, Diane. Hope you feel better. I got up early and took the girls to work and then put my last load of regular laundry into the washer. Next up is bed stripping. Finishing up a cup of coffee and thinking of breakfast. I think a bagel with my raspberry lavender jam and a banana sounds pretty good. The weather is supposed to be pretty good although the pollens are a bit high. I'll probably take and extra dose of my maintenance inhaler for the next few days. Hoping to get some of the garden cleaned up today. First, though, I mapped out a nice, scenic 7 mile run that includes a big hill. Should be a good workout for me. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Sorry....that made me laugh..... adrink egad lol

When Shirley was here a few years ago I had Dreamsicles (how the hell do you spell Dreamcycles? ..spellcheck says everything is wrong...lol)...and I had to have an MRI on my brain the next morning...I had to drink a quart of barium stuff at midnight, so at midnight I mixed the barium crap with vodka and Dreamsicle mix...I had to be carried into the MRI place.
....talk about a hangover..... boohoo adrink

I am pretty glad I am long past the messy diaper ages. Well, at least until the Depends age hits here.
It sounds like your grandbaby may be ready for some potty training soon, Sunny. That is where bribing grandparents come in handy.

I hope the toast did it for her.
Good morning. I was up and down last night. But overall, I slept enough. Today is my usual Sunday of getting ready for a new school week, stripping beds and laundry. Maybe a nap in there later.

I came in soon after the youngest was potty trained. No diaper messes for me, lol. Work is pretty slow today which means I'm getting ahead of myself for the week and won't have to worry about being overwhelmed. I'm finishing up my lunch and then I'll get the therapy paper work done and head home early.

Spent the day at the hospital thinking my granddaughter had trench mouth but apparently it was an allergic reaction...then came home and spent the late afternoon raking.

Do you know what the allergy is, Sunny? That can be scary.
Raking was on my agenda today and it mostly got done.

yes it surely can be scarry---I hope you at least have an idea.

I had a great weekend--my oldest DD & her DH came to stay so my SIL could help my DH put an overhang onto the shed outback---to afford us some shade and to protect our grill from the elements.
it was my Mother's day weekend gift--since they will be gouing to his mom's for the actual Mother's day weekend.

I was given 2 geraniums (sp), 2 strawberry plants (that can stay in pots) and some thigns to c ome--but those were the "plant" things from her...

Plants...what a wonderful gift to receive. The added overhang will be great, can't wait to see pics.

Not sure on the allergy...the only think she had different was some Skittles candy. She won't be getting those again.

Another day of cleaning and yard work today.

I was just reading this, and wanted to mention that when my son was little, he had an allergy to the yellow food dye in Easter peeps - the marshmallow candy. That same dye was in the over the counter medicine Actifed.

I would be careful with food coloring with your grandaughter until you figure out what is causing this reaction, since you mentioned Skittles.

Hi all,
We are having the rain too and the mtns and foothills got snow... east of us and north too got hail... nice to get the moisture in any form as dry as we are though... yard is just drinking it in so that is nice... my water bill doubled this month just to keep it alive..
it's a lot chillier for sure though only 42* right now- quite a change from almost 90 last week...

I will have to go get boys today so they don't get soaked... they will be bored in the house - no outside for them today...

Well have my laundry ready to sort and start so better get that done... was a lazy day yesterday so need to get some stuff done today... we have a trip planned to Az next weekend so got to get some stuff done for that too, find my travel stuff, bring up a suitcase, make sure Joe has all his golf stuff together, the hotel I found close to my MIL's has a kitchen so am taking our food for lunches and dinners- hotel has free breakfasts.. gotta save some money somehow... has a pool too so got my sunscreen already.... just hope the heat isn't to bad, at least it isn't June yet...

Well off to sort... find some lunch .... and may dust and vacuum too.... have a good day all!
Nana

Good evening everyone. Came home a little early so that I could get the meatloaf into the oven sooner. Making to loaves takes a while to cook. I have sauce for my dinner simmering on the stove. I'm making a creamy tomato sauce with leeks and artichoke hearts to pour over grilled slices of polenta. The family is having meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. I'll probably have some green beans too. I took in my hummingbird feeder. I've been neglecting it for far too long and it was gross. I put out the other one with new food. Maybe they'll want to try it if it's not the same feeder? It's nice to have a little bit of change out there anyway. After dinner I'm going to try to rush to get my shopping done so I can come home and watch The Voice. We've been watching it as a family every Monday since it aired after the Super Bowl. Well, almost time to get the green beans going and I have to cut up the mushrooms for the gravy. Have a great evening!

Yesterday we finished cleaning up and prepping in the garden. I finally got to plant seeds! flwr My friend is giving me some tomato starts and some other stuff to plant Friday.

My daughter and I have been doing some fun stuff lately. Sunday she ran in her first race. We went to something called a Rubber Ducky Festival, which was a fundraiser for a dog park. They had a race for the little kids called the 100 meter Waddle. It was free and everyone got a medal. So fun.

Today we are going to the Jelly Belly Factory with some friends. applaud They give a tour of their production facility and you are able to see all the machines working. My daughter will love it. She is very mechanically inclined. She loves to use tools and take things apart and figure out how things work.

Have a great day everyone ~Beth~
