Hello everyone!

I am new to the gardening scene...this is my thirs year having a garden and every year it seems to get bigger and bigger. This year I decided to grow lettuce and have been reading online that they don't enjoy full sun. Unfortunately ALL of my yard gets full sun. I bought a floating row cover and in the description it states that it is a frost row cover. Am I able to use it through the summer as well?

Thanks for your help!

Ashlee

Welcome, TillyBo. Most of these will build up heat too much and cook your lettuce. Lettuces like cool weather so people in your climate plant them early in the season and late. Thje row cover could help you regulate warmth for them for a longer 'cool' season.
