I was wondering if anyone could help me identify thses 2 plants. They are both in my flower bed & I thought to ask for someone's opinion before I pulled them out.

Near where plant # 1 is, last year I had Gaillardia, Echinacea and close by was Bachelor Buttons.

Plant # 2 is not really white like it shows---I put "Seven" on it before I thought to take a picture of it--so sorry..

Plant #1 looks like gaillardia to me. Plant #2 looks like a plant as well, but not sure what kind. Do you have any mums around?

no mums that that I recall..but there was a white swan Echinacea, --some Gaillardia's and again, not to far away some bachelor buttons---
Also, there is a Stoke's Astor not too far away.
on the oter side of the bed, there was some osteospermum as well..

and thanks for the ID on plant # !--for it will stay---we will see, later this summer what it is------when/if it blooms I will show you.

I almost thought I had it in my garden!! But I took a picture of mine posted it together with your second picture and when placed next to each other I saw the differences!!! They don't look like weeds so it'll be fun to see what blooms flwr
