My DH was just telling me about a blue bird he saw while hunting this past few days. We looked it up on-line and yep it was a blue bird. We are used to Blue Jays, but not blue birds. We were looking at the habitat, and it says "southern Rocky Mountains" WY is definately more northern. Could they be coming this far north because of the unusually early warm temperatures? why He said by the time he got his camera out the bird flew off. Must have been quite beautiful as my DH is not really the bird watching kind of guy! grin

I do think that birds expand their habitats when weather allows. How cool for you!
