this is rose bush I got from my mothers yard a few years ago it reportedly came from Oklahoma with my grandmother early part of last century to Hall county Texas then with my mother to New Mexico.
First bloom of 2012

Beautiful...it looks so healthy.

I took a slip off my grandmothers rose bush years ago, I since then had to remove it....I ended up with a hedge full of suckers instead of a pretty rose bush.
