Yesterday it got 86 here...today another record-breaking heat wave.

Unbelievable...I went from 10-12 ft of snow to 2-3 ft in just days.

Good morning.
Sunny, Mother Nature finally listened and gave you a bit of spring right on time. I hope it sticks.
Cindy, a very nice new lounge.
No major plans. I am still working on clearing things out of the house, making room to breath.

I thought it was great Tina but apparently with this weather the maple syrup production has stopped and they say we might have trouble with our fruit trees, they will bloom early and get hit by frost.

Spent the day doing a few home repairs(seems there's something new every week). My bi fold doors for my laundry area broke so I made them into solid doors and took down the tracks and put hinges up. Now only 18 more things on my to-do list. rolz

Well since I only had 12 things on my list a week ago....you might be waiting awhile haha

I hate waiting for extra money to get things done when I have so much empty time on my hands.

I have much more than 18 things on my list. But a little at a time. And the list always grows instead of shrinking. Lots of sorting and tossing got done today. And a quick trip to town. Funny to walk into a grocery store and just get what I needed and not seeing a half dozen other things to add to my cart. But nice too.

I have no idea. It's a heat pump thing...heats in the winter and cools in the summer. I'll have to call my cousin tomorrow to come look at it. In the meantime I have sweat pouring off me...my hair is totally wet. Another record-breaking high temp day.

Someone offered me a Macaw...I have wanted this bird for years and now that they want to give it to me I can't take it. I can barely take care of myself at this point, let alone Lola and Spartacus. No way I could add another parrot into the mix.

I am sorry, Cindy. I hope it is a quick fix on your a/c. And I am very glad you are showing your common sense about the macaw.

Good morning-- breakfast

Yea we have been doing that here to for several years, but this year it seems to be more severe...now, while I will take an early summer---if things keep progressing, soon we will have scorching weather & then what--no rain to go with it ??

I am off to rehab----carch everyone later---bye wavy

Good morning. I am not jealous of anyone's snow. And when the jet stream is right (or wrong?), Bill's weather heads my way. We are to have a cold, wet weekend. But water is almost always nice.

Now that I have had a nap in the cool comfort of my recliner I think I should probably take a shower...guess I will be able to sleep tonight without sweating. Last night I had a fan about 6 inches from me...lol

Good Morning everyone--

Rod didn't feel the need to take my grandpuppies outside this morning, so they woke me up---so here I sit--very tired yet awake---
I submit for you, reason # 628 why we "will NOT" have another dog when Dante's time comes.

Good morning, yesterday was like 3 days in 1..I was sooo busy.

Today will be quieter. Our snow is down to a foot or so with bare patches of ground. How 10 ft of snow can melt in a week is so strange. Calling for snow again this week end...my tulips and daffy's are up out of the ground already. touched

Good morning. More cleaning plans today. And a trip to town. We are to have another cool, rainy weekend. I need to haul in more firewood.

Nighty night, Junie.
The thunderstorms are getting close now...I can hear the thunder getting closer and closer and the tornado warning just came across the TV. I'm supposed to get in a closet? Nope...I'm going to lay in the recliner by the window and try to sleep through it.
