ok it is open---I have a pink Hyacinth blooming too, but i t is storming out--so there is no picture of it yet.....sad story---I dug up and moved my daffs down a bit, last fall so I could have room for my dwarf iris---well first a rouge hyacinth came up & then a bunch of daffs showed up anyway----and my dwarf iris--nope----not the seeds & not the plant-- why I am hoping at some later date ???

OK, I don't have beautiful flowers yet...and I think Dodge told me how to post a picture from Photo Bucket, but I didn't write it down and I seem to remember how to get a picture on Photo Bucket, but would someone take the time to let me know how to post from photo bucket to our forum? Thanks.

Tulips from a Friend of Mine I visited while in KS,, She said tulips bloomed early this year because of the warmer winter they had,, Yep they had snow a couple of time but no where near what Ks winters normally are,,,

Diane---Try to transplant them from your current yard--before the first grass cutting of course---just dig WAY under them so the roots are not disturbed & they should be fine---Early this spring, I sprinkled down some more soil over my just barely showing violets & they seems to like it & came in really thick this year.

If ya remind me next year (early) I could send you a few violet starts.

I love Clemantis, I am very anxious to see the new pics too--

I really need to plant one here---I drive by the old house & somehow the new owners of MY house have managed to kill off the beautiful one that my Dh's great Aunt had growing there---& I managed to keep it thriving for 25 years--it took them no time to kill it off-- rolz

Romance?? Hubby is about the most unromantic person I know. His plans for the week end enclude having the kids all over and digging a ditch out back.

My sister just had some major back surgery & so she has a lot of time on her hands. She can however get on her laptop so she has found me some graphics--it seems that in the group she belongs to, they post a new graphic with each post----so she is always on the look-out for graphics--she customized this one for me--i thought this an appropriate thread to show it to you guys.----My sister is "Tara's Treasures" so not to worry

will my baby Malva grow up to look just like yours, Belinda?? I planted this by seed and I think it wants to go outside, but I think it may be a touch early. I love all your wonderful pictures, Belinda and Carol.

Nice, malva is invasive here also...but pretty.

My grandmother despises them, they are known as 'widow's flowers' here. Many many years ago..the widows in the area seemed to have less yard work done and the ditches and fields near their houses would be filled with Malva. Grandma said you knew who didn't have a husband by the fields of Malva that surrounded them.

Every Malva had to be mowed steadily around her house...we didn't dare let one come in bloom.

Wonderful flowers Sheri and Carol!

Sheri - did you mean to say your new geranium instead of gardenia?

Carol - I LOVE that Little Annie coneflower!

I would LOVE to have some bleeding hearts---but alas no shaded areas here. I do have a small fuschia in the front (east facing) we will just see how long it gets to live.... why

Beautiful Blooms, Carol. I have some coreopsis started from seed, that I plan to plant outside this week. Glad I didn't do it last week as we got a cold snap! I love yours and can't wait till mine look like that! grin

Bobbie: Mine were started from seed also. A wild flower mix it was. These & some tickseed were all that have survived so far.
in the beginning it was taller & more spindly but now a days it is shorter & much nicer---Thanks for the nice words.
