My sister just had some major back surgery & so she has a lot of time on her hands. She can however get on her laptop so she has found me some graphics--it seems that in the group she belongs to, they post a new graphic with each post----so she is always on the look-out for graphics--she customized this one for me--i thought this an appropriate thread to show it to you guys.----My sister is "Tara's Treasures" so not to worry

will my baby Malva grow up to look just like yours, Belinda?? I planted this by seed and I think it wants to go outside, but I think it may be a touch early. I love all your wonderful pictures, Belinda and Carol.

Nice, malva is invasive here also...but pretty.

My grandmother despises them, they are known as 'widow's flowers' here. Many many years ago..the widows in the area seemed to have less yard work done and the ditches and fields near their houses would be filled with Malva. Grandma said you knew who didn't have a husband by the fields of Malva that surrounded them.

Every Malva had to be mowed steadily around her house...we didn't dare let one come in bloom.
