In the nearby woods there are green,thorny,leafless vines with tendrills, surrounding and climbing trees making thickets. I have no idea what they are, any help?

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

In South Carolina we call them saw briars. This is because they will latch on to a piece of clothing and saw across the skin as you walk past and leave a long scratch. ouch!
