Oh, where to start! My name is Karen and I (now) Live in NC. (zone 7). I have been in this area for 8 months now, having moved from California, and before that Florida and (yes another)before that i was born and raised in the UK. I have minimal gardening experience and every time i move somewhere, I have to start all over again!
I recently bought a house with 1.5 acres of 'yard' and am currently learning what i have in the garden. Hoping to put in a small veggie patch, starting small because im am a learner! There are various trees on the property, some fruit trees and then what i like to call the 'mystery' plants because i honestly have NO idea what they are. I may be a novice but i am very keen to learn what things are, what to grow and how ,now that i am actually settled.

Welcome, Karen. We actually have a mystery plant section to post pictures in. We either know, guess or research. It is fun. We all learned this way. Good luck.
