PS....having those steps to the top bunk is so much safer than the ladders we had back in the old days!

this bed is a necessity they broke the last bunk bed notme I do try to spoil them a little while giving them what they need, lol
but they will work hard this week clearing out their bedroom cleaning the carpet and cleaning walls , we are going to paint their room this week getting ready for next Saturday. We are going to look for a "soft sage color" I think. We are going to home depot today to look for the right color.

Ohh thats a cool bed... glad you found just what you needed for them.... love sage too . like almost all greens in fact... good color for a boys room... just a thought if the beds require bunky boards..you might want to get 2 to make it a little stronger.. we found it to help with bouncy boys... especially as they get bigger...

Yep Bunky boards included with the price Nana,, Sunny one has been sleeping on the couch the other a mattress on the floor,, since the bunk beds broke,
I was just waiting for $$ to buy another more sturdy set and yes both are tired of the sleeping arrangements as they are now.
I bought Tre a new bed a long time ago sometimes he shares with Julian sometimes not,, depending on his mood< (teenager rolz lol )
I haven't had a chance to go to home depot yet but I will, Thanks for agreeing with the sage color,, thumbup

The colors all sound good..
Just funny to me cause I just put up different colors in my bath.. ON the pale greenish.. And they look good to me..
Sage sounds fine no matter what shade......I think all paint gets a bit lighter when they dry on the walls........Good luck with it all.
Glad your able to do all this for the boys an you .. Of course Lil Jimmy is there to back you up that's a good pal................

do any of them have a built in primer--& cover well in 1 coat?? That could help you decide which one to go with----, or narrow it down to 2 colors & do 1 wall dark & the 3 other a lighter shade.... why

you DO know if I could I would, right???

I have long held to the opinion that we, all of "us", should live in say a 20 minute radius of each other.

I'm wondering...did you get the bed? How do they like it?

We've been looking at plans for loft beds for the kids. Stephen and I will make them and then paint them.

We got the bed delivered today,, clap
For some reason the camera didn't pick up the sage colors on the walls and on the bed spread, why . We had to eliminate the desk and chair there just wasn't enough room their closet door couldn't be opened with the desk and chair there boohoo So now I have a store credit of $75. thumbup the boys are okay with it so I am too,( did we really have a choice? ) lol
they are now in the process of putting their clothes in all the drawers,, I believe toys and books will go in the long closet type door ( can't see in the picture below) I had the fella's that put it together put shelves in there thumbup
so now there will be less stuff sitting around the room clap
Julian chose Mario Brothers for his bed spread while Breyton wanted a more "adult" type bedspread,, So it's all good, grin
