I went an downloaded stupid PC Cleaner an it wont let me uninstall it. I deleted the files from task manager an it still didnt help. But when it comes on , I find if I press ESC key it takes it off , till next time.
I appears to stay open all the time an you can uninstall it..Help.. gang

Usually you have to delete it from your Control Panel. There should be the name "Programs" you can uninstall it directly from there.

Usually yes.......right now no.. THey keep it open so one cannot delete it.. I went and deleted files an it keeps returning...........
They want me to call them an activate.Go jump in the lake.

This is one of the nastiest scam things going. I had it once on this computer and do not remember how I got rid of it. I think it was by resetting my computer to a time prior to the thing popping up.

You could try Avast and Spybot and seeing if they can clean it up; there is likely a startup file that reinstalls the "cleaner" on reboot, but I think letting you loose on startup entries could cause even more trouble than just this (but if you want to fiddle with it, in spybot turn the mode to advanced and go into tools then go to system startup and deselect ones you don't want to load on boot).
