So true, there never seems to be enough space, it make you wonder how years gone by people managed just fine with less stuff. we have an old dresser that we use a tv stand that my dad is fond of telling us used to be shared by my grandfater and his brother, from their childhood through their teens, and it isn't very big. I don't think I could have handle sharing a dresser I had far too much stuff.

I shared dressers, closets and rooms with my sister. I do like having my own. I have a biggish house, spread out. But my husband built big empty rooms with lots of windows and electrical outlets. But nothing in the way of closets, cabinets, or enclosed storage. I ended up hiring someone to build a walk-in closet. It was driving me nuts.

lol Carol...I bought a bath/shower rod for it and some lace curtains. Cartainly cheaper than doors.

I've learned a long time ago to get things done soon I 'll have to do it myself. Most times it works out...well most haha

Got to go take in wood for tomorrows storm, back in a bit.

I wanted a nap today so bad...I was up all night last night throwing up (til 6am). Even after morphine every 2 hours all day today I still could not sleep (I usually get my best sleep in the hospital)...hoping I will sleep good tonight in my recliner. I'm wore out.

Rest well Bill and you also Cindy kissie

The only time I slept well in the hospital is when they put me to sleep...any noise wakes me up.

Good morning and Happy Feb, 1st...here it means that Winter is half over. Snowing at the moment, shoveled out my windows yesterday. They were only covered by 6 inches but it's easier to just shovel every storm, lesson learned.

It should mean winter is half over here too, but its turn up with a rather poor showing so far. I thought maybe with that snow earlier this week we would finally get winter, but alas it went well above freezing yester stayed there overnight and now is pretty much gone, again...

I wouldn't be surprised to find signs of life in the garden by the end of the week if this keeps up

It is so surprising at how difference our weather is when you think that Shani lives just a little South West of me. It is storming out again today...I'll send some down to you all lol

I am hoping for an early spring also...

It's good weather to stay in and cook and bake though, lasagna sauce is simmering for a big batch and the oven is warming up to get some cookies.

Today the weather news channel talked about how 20 years ago today we got hit with one of the worst storms ever...I watched the video online. Amazing that as teenagers we thought it was so cool, now it sends shivers up my spine...yup I'm getting old haha

I mailed a forum member in Canada a package years ago, paid a lot extra to get it there faster...after a week I was thinking it would be there any day...2 weeks, 3 weeks, a month...no package. We assumed it was not going to get there...after another month it arrived...with 3 dead weeping willow trees in it.

I'm thinking about making some tea out of deadly willow. idea
I watch "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" everyday and she uses willow bark tea for pain.

Cindy, who looks after Lola for you when you are sick? I was always curious about that.

Just got in from shovelling out windows again...I can touch the roof just walking along the snow. Holy, I've got a pain in my head just like when you eat too much ice cream. I think the chimney smoke did me in...I need a hot coffee.

Your province has been strange this Winter...some places are snowbound and others are snowless.
