I have just cleaned out a border next to my front porch which runs under a large, low window. I am looking for suggestions for maybe, two shrubs to take the place of the plants I have removed. The house is facing East and I have Azaleas and Japonica Pieris on the other side of the porch. The window is only three feet from the ground.Any suggestions will be welcome. Many thanks.
Thank you for the advice and the website. I've purchased a mini Rhododendron which should only grow to a couple of feet, 'Purple Gem', an Euonymus, 'Emerald Gaiety' and a Dwarf Alberta Spruce to put in the corner beside the porch and next to the window. I'm also looking for the 'Daphne odorata' I have now been inspired to clean up some other aged very woody shrubs and generally tidy up the whole border. Once again thank you!!!!!!
