This sprouted earlier this yr and started to look like a baby maple .
Then it started to vine out so I staked it up.

I would love to have a little tree in this spot to close our little sitting spot in more. I had a little pine seedling there at one time but it didn't make it .

If this is a baby tree, should I snip it back to start forming a tree rather then it taking off wildly?

It sure looks like a maple tree and we have 3 maples 50yrds away. Im thinking it was one of those helicopter seeds that took root and likes it there.

As long as it's not something bad tree or not ,I plan on keeping it there if it's safe.

I think it will likely find its way across the rope. It would give it a different look. I love vines they llok cool pretty much everywhere. Though a few people I know can't stand them for the same reason I like them.

I think a grape vine for sure. I have been hacking them off the trees on the side of my property as they were chocking them out.

I like to close our little sitting area up as much as I can ....pretty peaceful at times.

This might give it another element ideahmmm

Gave the little guy a new thing to climb on for now, those post holding the ropes need some TLC here soon. Better to move the little guy now grin

I like your yard. I have that vine and pull them up or cut them down.

Actally they are edible and very good too. A common name for them is possum grape.

Every plant started out as a seed ,and then came the waiting game.
