I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Google has started adding gnomes and some photos in TGH search results. Only on this site so far, but I'm hoping it will go worldwide.

I did a search to check how my Cyclamen page showed up in search results and clicked on my link, checked the page over and clicked 'Back'. Back on the search page, I noticed that I now had the option to 'block all search results from www.thegardenhelper.com'
That mad me nervous that something wrong with the page so I went to Google and learned that it is a new option, in case I reallly hated TGH... I immediately blocked Wikipedia and e-how

Search results to forum pages, on ANY forum or bloggy thing that allows replies will now show how many posts and persons in the results.

On that note, I think I brought up last spring the my rankings on Google plummeted when they implemented their new algorithm. Many pages literally disappeared from searches. Just in time for spring! It cost my 50% of my income, at a bad time. I am happy to say that in the last week, I have jumped back up to the top of the page for most of my key words so I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen next spring.

I timidly asked one time for anyone with a Google+ account to plus 1 pages they like, but I guess that Google+ hasn't really caught on yet (except Google's webmasters LOL) but I can tell you, its safer than Facebook! If anyone would like a G+ account or Gmail, I would be glad to send you an invite!

I thought G+ was now open to anyone. I got an account early bur rarely use that or FB. I am glad you are back on top. I love wikipedia.

It probably is then. I can't keep up with much of anything anymore. That's why I don't use Facebook or any of that. I use G+ to + myself though!

I went to G+ and can't find where you + anyone...

Today, I did a makeover on The Garden Helper home page for the change of seasons.

Yep! I haven't figured it out yet either and don't need to, but I can still +1 my pages...
Have you tried to +1 me yet? It will make you log in with your password, but that is all...

I have tried but I'm not sure I did it right, I found the little google logo on one of THG pages clicked it and I said something about a bookmark. Is this right or am I clicking the wrong thing?

When I tried to join a few months back it said I was already registered

so I had them send me my PW---Well, the site had looked a bit familiar, & when they said that I knew why...

but as i said I still do not know how to use the site---(there should be instructuions or some such...
