My laptop suddenly quit working in the email..Yahoo. However the desktop is fine. Any ideas whY??

I got it working again/
Shut it down like I forgotten to do.. Restarted fine.

Not sure, could be any number of things, maybe a bad sector on the disk drive, could be a bad sector in the memory, could be something screwy with the operating system itself, any number of factors...
That's why it's a good idea to defrag/scandisk, virus scan, malware scan on a regular basis (though those wouldn't check for a memory fault, that's far more complicated lol)
