Lately, I've been enjoying photography more. Finally picked up a decent digital DSLR, although I enjoy my point and shoot too.

Recently, Save the Redwoods League picked my image (top) below, as one of ten finalists in this year's 2011 photo contest. Over 500 pics were submitted. For those interested, the finalist & voting page is here:

The redwood photo is also memorable because it was taken about 1 hour before discovering the tallest known Hemlock in the same park. The Hemlock is named 'Tsunami' ... photo (bottom) below.
