Hi, I decided to try hydroponic Strawberries. The one that survived has produced about a dozen runners, I've rooted them in good dirt. My question is...do I need to freeze them to get them to bloom? I live in the desert, in a second floor apartment. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a balcony? That should be enough chilling for them. Don't freeze them. That really is too much cold for too long. But you could put them in your refrigerator for about a month before bringing them out to the sun to regrow.
