Why not? Most of my neighbors do.

When I lived at the farm I got dressed while taking clothes off the clothesline...many times...

Been a long day...had to go have an emergency "blood-letting"...they took 2 more pints and it has only been 10 days since the last one. Then to the hospital until almost 7pm...what a wearout. So many things I needed to get done today because tomorrow I will be going to Rachel's for her surgery.

I am so sorry, Cindy. I hope they can find something more permanent as a solution for you. I do know what a drag it can be although John needed blood and platelets and spent hours in the chair receiving. It is tiring when you are well, much less not on top form.
Still praying for Rachel.
I decided it was not too hot to trim more shrubs so I got all that done today that I can with loppers. Tomorrow I plan on using the gas pole saw to reach what my loppers couldn't. Really getting ready for fire season here. It is nice to see it coming together again.

Good evening everyone. Just got back yesterday from a quick trip to Southern Ca to see my sister. Had a great time! My mom was nice enough to stay at my house to watch our dogs and a friend volunteered to water my garden. My sister lives in Oxnard near the beach although the day we headed out the front door to go to the beach it actually started raining. why

We did go up to HOT Ojai and out to Santa Clarita to visit a farm animal rescue place. It was so super hot but we had fun. I thought of Tina while I was out there. I don't know where you live exactly but it sounds like you're out in the desert. It was definitely toasty out there.

Hope everyone is doing well this evening. I am going to read now.

Good Night! mooo

Hi everyone. Had a very productive day today. I love it when I can go shopping and buy healthy food that will last me for days and doesn't cost me much. I spent $25 and will have lunches and dinners for the next three days.I had already bought my breakfast and snack stuff the other day. DH and I are trying to find something to watch on Netflix. We need a new TV show.

Hi, Cheryl. TV is sure pretty boring lately. Or I'm just getting old.

It has been toasty out here. I'm about 3 hours, I think, from Oxnard with good traffic (if you can find that). I live in the mountains slightly above San Bernardino.
I am heading off to my fluffy pillows. I would like to find ones that stay cool in summer though. Good night all.

Correction, I am only 2 1/4 hours from Oxnard if no traffic issues arise (ha ha). I google mapped it.

Good morning. Getting ready to take my son off to school. I'll stop for a quick trip through Walmart on the way home. I will crank up my gas pole saw when I am back to trim away more fire danger stuff from my house.

Good morning! I have to run home soon to put my chicken in the crock pot. My supplies order has come in already. Just need to open the boxes and put the stuff away. Hope everyone is having a good day!

I got lots and lots done today. I am very grateful that my pole saw starts so easily. I have 9 huge piles of stuff to be hauled off to the green waste tomorrow. When those are gone I will have room to make more piles. And there is more to do. Cutting all of the trees and shrubs back so they are not hanging over or touching my house. A little breathing room in case of fire. Well except the tree that John built the patio around. Even that is raised high enough so it isn't resting on the roof. But leaving enough shrubbery to keep my windbreak too.
Life is good here.

Hi everybody!

Well, I have read back and caught up w/ you all. Such busy people! It is nice to see, though.

We made out fine w/ Irene. It was a tropical storm by the time it arrived here... these things do usually slow down when they pass over cold water, so. Almost everyone we know lost power but we did not and I was really lad about that!!

I'm tired tonight so I'm going to put in a movie and lay down for a bit. See you all later!

Mine have bloomed twice a year for the last three years. There was one year where they bloomed three times. Crazy little flowers, they are.

I've decided to go swimming tonight. My toe is still sore and there is a lap swim at 8pm and I figure that 8pm on a weeknight shouldn't be very busy.

I will be taking my laptop with me so I can let you all know how it's going.
It's very hectic here at Rachel's tonight...everyone (mostly Rachel) is really on edge....so tense even her pets can sense there's something up.

I think we all need a adrink

Good morning. Many prayers, Cindy. For all of you. I think bars in hospitals could be a winner.

Good morning !!

I am getting ready to leave the house & begin my day---sad thiong is I feel a cold coming on---that or a severe case of allergies---either way this is NO fun---and sadly I cannot take anything for it---

Cindy I agree with Tina---it could work having a bar in the waiting rooms--I know it would make them money---the people in the waiting rooms would make sure of that i am sure.

Many prayers for Rachel, Cindy, Jeremy & Brennan too---(did Brennan come with, or is he is school???
