.Just so that you all know a little in advance, starting September 1st, I will only be doing a "Plant of the Week" instead of daily plant. There just aren't enough hours in a day, anymore...  ...At least until I get a few new profiles stockpiled and I don't have to keep showing reruns. In addition to profiling garden plants, I'll be working on new House Plant and terrarium plant profiles so I can highlight them during the cold winter months. I have been trying to adjust those 'linked keywords' so that they don't pop up at as many inappropriate times. I eliminated a few words and tweeped a few others.... I like to keep the Googlebot guessing! If a word pops up as a link more than you think it should, please let me know and I'll see what I can do. :wink:  I'm pretty sure that old Willy is going to show up with a new episode, or two, or three this winter as well... sooner or later... maybe... I think... pretty sure anyway... barring unexpected comas...   Happy End-o-August! It's sure been a weird gardening year up here!

Thanks for all the information Bill--and that is fine about the "plant of the week" sounds good to me--and then doing houseplant and terrarium plant profiles this winter will be great reading---so thanks so much for them--- ' and more tales about willy--that would be great----so if & when we will be anxiously awaiting.....

Plant of the week sounds good. Thanks for the update I hope these "episode" come off with out a hitch including but not limited to unexpected comas.

I'm pretty sure that old Willy is going to show up with a new episode, or two, or three this winter as well... sooner or later... maybe... I think... pretty sure anyway... barring unexpected comas... I hope so... ...and I have really missed the critter/garden/bird/yard cam.

I know that sometimes I seem to disappear for a few days, but I am always busy... The java script I used on the pages to make pictures pop up in a small window had some unexpected side effects that I didn't expect and most of my plant photos disappeared from search results on Google, so I've had to divert my attention to fixing the problem.I'm almost caught up from that after updating 250 pages and indexing them in the new sitemap. If you have a Gmail profile, Please "Like" any TGH pages you visit... IF you like them. It makes a big difference in my search results! I have a few new house plant pages in the works and they will show up regularly while I do my other projects. I am asking for house plant photos and permission to display the on pages in the near future, so if you have lots of house plants, I would appreciate your help. Right now I would appreciate any photos of Pileas, Button Ferns or Portulacaria afra (and others) if you have them. Thank you!

I am SOOO thankful that I have internet---if I ever fall off the face o f the earth, know that likley I have l ost the internet--(don't have it on my phone) if I am just sick someone will likley post somewhere to that effect. FYI: There are lots of days that the "antics" around here keep me going
