Hello,
About 5 years ago I found an acorn with a wee sprout coming out of it and now my oak tree has been going great.
This year however i'm a little concerned about him.
First, he bloomed much, much later than everything else in the garden, around mid-April i suppose. But he seemed happy when he got going.
Now, he's grown some long offshooting branches and these branches are now withering. But what concerns me is that the leaves on these branches are covered in a white mold like substance that looks like frost.
Should I prune these branches or do I need to do something else?
Thanks!
