Good morning. We went a bit over in the last CH. And we didn't even have a Friday night party!
Today will be a work around the house day, inside and out.

I have been outside working. Lots of stuff trimmed and dragged into piles, lots of raking into more piles. It is about time. I let things slide too much and wasted some wonderful working weather. I shopped instead.
It is 9:45 am and it is only 70* out there. Unheard of in August.

I got some more stuff done today outdoors and had a good nap. I made chicken salad for my dinner and had it on a sandwich with some grapes on the side and a peach for desert. A good day.
I guess a lot of the eastern seaboard has had some storms today.

Hi all,
I am heading to bed in a few- we raised over 1300.00 for Alli... YAY! It was a fun day alltogether.. and I did about half the walk.. it was cloudy most of the day- sun didn't come out till second half of the walk back and boys was I glad I coated myself with sunscreen and took my bag with extra- shared it with lots of people.. mosquito spray too and even used my first aid kid on our Derek who fell and cut his palm a little bit... we had over 100 people there... Alli's Army Wives buddies arranged for her former boss in Ok to come and suprise her too... she brought her hubby and teenage boys too.. everyone walked it- and got pushed in strollers if they were babies.. Alli
brother brought his platoon of 30 soldiers to do there PT .. they ran the course 7 times to our one, and I do mean ran... it was wonderful to see them but boys they are young!
We left there about 2- got home at 3 and I took a 3 hour nap... wore this old Nana out...I didn't even hear when Joe got home from work ... Carrie called a while ago and they did the same... boys did the same thing- I don't know how she made it that far- she had worked till after midnight last night and was up at 6 to get stuff and boys ready.. she took tomorrow off at least so she has recovery time..
Well I am off to go back to bed.. hopefully won't be to sore tomorrow... but if I am it was worth it ...
Nana

That is a nice chunk of change for Alli, Nana. I am glad it happened on such a good day when so many could participate. Rest well tonight.

A long busy day today. I did not even get a nap in because my oldest children were visiting. But it was a lovely visit.
I also did not get a lot done today. But today was a fast food and pizza day so I also don't have a mess of dishes or anything. I have Ted ready for school tomorrow. Hair, nails trimmed and hair washed and all of that.
So a good day. I am sleepy and TV sucks tonight. I may bed down way early.

!Hello everyone. Just a quick fly by, the girls are 16 today! Time sure does fly. I worked early this morning as a cna on the floor. Kind of freaked people out but in a good way. I came home and started on dinner. The girls chose eggplant parmesan as their birthday dinner and I surprised them by making a copy cat olive garden stuffed mushroom recipe. They had a very nice dinner. Now I'm just waiting on my salad to arrive. After all that cooking I was too hot and tired to cook more so I ordered in. We're going to watch a movie or something soon, the girls choice of course. See you all later and hope everyone had a great weekend!

They've just barely started learning to drive. No licenses until they're 18 and can get their own insurance. Insurance and drivers ed, which is required to get your license before 18, are way too expensive. They aren't itching for and haven't even asked about driving recently. It scares them somewhat so I guess that's a good sign.

I didn't want to get my license when I was a teen. My older bro and sis had a few accidents and I knew I would never get the use of the family car for my own stuff. I would just be sent on family errands so my mother did not have to go out. No fun there so I wasn't giving her the relief.
Jonni got her license at 17. That raised my insurance by $1000 a year. And it will stay there until she is 25 or something. Drivers ed was $450. She got her car before she got her license. She is a pretty good driver.
I got Teddy to school and stopped to shop for a few things. I will go out to shop for a few more things when the stores open.

My day is dragging on here---and I have yet to scrub my floors--off to begin that now--TTYL

Having a rough day here...can't wait for the doctor to fix me, but I just watched a video of a bone marrow biopsy on youtube and it scares the hell out of me now...it was brutal.

I thought he had. I don't know why they won't just knock your scared @ss out and do it...good grief, they knock you out for a freaking colonoscopy. I'd rather be awake for that than a bone marrow biopsy.

Tell them how worried you are about it and maybe they will, Cindy. But is anesthesia a good idea for you?
Pssst! They never knocked John out for a colonoscopy either. I've never had one.

Good morning everyone! Cindy, hope your appointment goes well. My allergies are acting up a bit this morning. Should clear up soon. We're still holding in the 70's, an extremely mild summer we've had. I'm waiting for my order to come in so I can help the guy put it in my stock room.

Bad day here, so I probably will not be on much tonight.
My dad is in bad shape...please pray for him.
And, when I went to have some more blood tests this morning they like to never got the blood out of me because it was so thick. The tech said she had never seen such thick blood...said it was like molasses. They had to get a huge needle and suck it out with a syringe and it took forever...it wouldn't just flow into the little tubes they use. She said I must have a very strong heart to pump that thick of blood through my body....I told her I had a good heart... :ding:

Yes ma'am I did--well I went--no one else was there today & Jerry Dale (the guy who has the class) had to make a batch of Antipasta this morning---so I just stayed long enough to put together a caddy for my 2 oz paints---wow---it was a mess to put together--took 2 hours shock----the instructions were made by some people from China--and were as clear as mud----

but it is together now---well good enough to use.... grin

how goes it with you????

I am good.
My daughter came back home and will stay for a week. She has been home with us as much as she has been 'gone' to her new home. It is funny but a good experience for her.
My two oldest were here on Sunday. That is good and fun visiting. I just seem to be so busy these days. I want a quiet day and that doesn't look like happening soon.
