If I deadhead the spent flowers on my butterfly bush, will it bloom again?

Welcome Nonie. Yes it might help to bring on more blooms. Mine tends to bloom all summer long anyway. But I found if I trimmed it back a little, it got more new blooms and just looked fresher in general. Then in fall or winter I cut it back a lot. that works well here in S. Cal.

Welcome to the forum, Nonie!

I find deadheading helps most things do better for longer, so it wouldn't hurt to try!

I'm glad you found us. Come back often!

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

If your Honeysuckle is showing any signs of new growth, it will bloom again... be patient...
