I am new here and old at the same time as I haven't been on in a long time. Bought a house and in the backyard are two old rose bushes. From the size of the base of the plants, I'd say they've been there thirty years or more. The plants are huge, they are going over my five feet, two inches. I gave them a "hair cut" over the winter and they are now starting their blooming. I've looked over so many photos trying to compare in order to identify, that everything is now blurry! Photos are below. Any help id'ing these will be appreciated!

Your pictures are absolutely STUNNING!!! Yellow roses are my favorites too!
Sorry I can't help ID them though.

Where in S. California are you? My son moved to Irvine this past September.

Thanks everyone. I am now in the Greater Long Beach area. If anyone has any ideas what these roses are.....

Pic links to a Google page for the Peace hybrid tea rose where you
can find more pics. This is the best guess I
can offer. What do you think?

I had someone else tell me the same thing. So I looked it up. I do think that they are Hybrid Tea roses called "Peace." Named in 1945 on the same day as the peace treaty in Berlin ended WWII in Europe. So its still considered a "modern" rose. They are double roses too.

Thanks!
