Ok here is the deal. I have a shed painted white. I have two wrought iron plant pot holders in black that hold about an 8 inch terra cotta pot. I would love to plant something in the pots that can survive a Southwestern Location full sun with a blacktop surface really heating up the area a lot. I've tried Cypress Vine and creeping charlie but they both shriveled up and died within a week.

Is there maybe a succulent that would drape over the side of the pot and do well there? Or is the pot just to small to support anything substancial?

I think the pot would be to small for tthe strawberries but I think I would like to try the tailing sediums. I'll take a look into that. Thank you for the suggestion.
