Shouldn't be any problem here, the server is on 24/7; in fact, most mornings I'm on here 3am PST (6am EST) without any problems.

I was on here at 4am PST (7am EST) this morning and everything was running without a hitch

It appears to be a problem on her end and she is asking for clues to fix it. I would dump my cookies again and if that did not work I would call my provider.
Is there a page that comes up with an error, Dodge?

Had my computer check this out an it said www.gardenhelper is on lin, but isnt respondig to connection attemps.

That tells me that your firewall and security settings are working very well. They are working so well that they are not allowing you to get on TGH all of the time. Security settings can be altered to maybe allow.

I'm really confused...

I think what happens is that dodge can access the forum but constantly is knocked off and asked to re-enter her name and password. Sometimes re-entering works, sometimes not. She's deleted her cookies and tried to re-register from the beginning. In the last few months I have also been knocked off and had to re-enter my name and password. It has happened to me when going from one forum to another. So far I've been successful in logging back in each time.

We need ideas on where to look for the problem; whether it's with the forum or our own computers.

Did this problem occur AFTER the forum went down for several days? maybe there is something there you know like the editing on posting button never showed back up,, My Daughter in Kansas still can't get back in tho she has been sent several new passwords. I hope and Pray Dodge the solution is found,,

All I know is it occured.
Right now at 11:02 I got right on.

As for when the server went offline for a few days, we took the time to relocate to a new server while we where down; if it where a problem with say permissions then it'd either effect everyone or no one (as either files can't be created or they can, and it would need someone to fix it when that would occour).

I'm not sure why you'd not be able to connect to the server when others can however, the server is located on a major datacenter that is linked off a large internet backbone, so it shouldn't be that

There must be some type of problem since Diane's daughter can't even get one, dodge gets knocked off for hours at a time, I have to re-log in when moving from forum to forum and I think I remember someone saying Shirley was having bigs problems before she left. At least I haven't seen her for a long while.
