here is a pic of the area where i am expanding my bulb/raised garden. i had the bulbs in another section, but as they finish blooming and die back, i'm going to move them to here.

sedum and such will go in the holes of the cinder blocks. kissie thank you diane! thumbup

i'm filling the areas in with potting soil/garden soil a little at a time, as i add things to it. and yes, those blocks have been singed, they were in the fire.

lookin good jiffy.
i use to put petunias in the block holes.
cant wait to see what all you do, it will be nice to see your progress with it :) what bulbs are you puttin in there? and when they die off are ya gonna plant annuals in there?

I've never thought about doing that. It's a great idea. Give some dimension to a flat area.

i should plant annuals, but i'm not really good at that. in the "established" part of the bulb bed is amaryllis and hurricane lilies. i'm hope they bloom this year. on the other side of the walkway is iris and hurricane lilies.

Jiffy Dew flowers would be awesome in the cinder block holes too They are heat drought tolerate and cascade as well and comes in different colors!! The palmeri I sent you would be great in there too !!
