I did one year, about 4 years ago...
Started nice, grew even nicer..
It didn't flower as much as I expected,
but I thought maybe I got the growing medium wrong
or I had the wrong shaped/sized pots/containers for it..
**I had tri~shaped pots, and put about 4 to a pot,
so they might have had a bigger root system then the
pot allowed**

alot of 'statice' is what Californians call 'sea lavender'

Limonium sinuatum

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

It also holds it's blooms well above thickish rounded leaves (seaweed-looking) and the blooms wave in the breeze. It LOOKS like something from the ocean floor. Sea statice also does well in my semi-desert climate. But still looks 'coastline'.

Statice likes lean and dryish soil and space between plants. Fertile soil will produce lots of foliage and few flowers. This is true of most everlastings.

Its best seeded in coir pots. Dislikes having its roots disturbed.
