So, I have completely let my gardens go, and I have not been "here" for quite some time. I do have a job now, which is good. I have been given a couple of plants to care for at my desk, and it has made me want more. One is a pretty daisy, that they said never bloomed in a year and a half, and I've been here almost a month, and I have a gorgous big pink daisy right now that popped right up. Also a pointsetta that is flowerless.. and I'm hoping to figure out a way to get that to bloom as well. I'm hoping to find some nice "house plants" that flower, that are easy to care for, so I can add even more color.

Have thought of ya'll heaps.. just been too lazy to do anything about it. Kinda like my weed beds. aka flower beds. aka pumpkin pansies. egad haha

How ARE you Meg?!? So good to see you back again! Congrats on your job, and for getting that daisy to bloom! How about some african violets, or christmas cacti? Orchids? Oh, another plant that blooms for me year round indoors is a geranium.

Hope you are planning to stick around - you've been missed!

thank you all for the welcome grin i'll try to stick around a bit more this time.

and yes, i was reading and thinking maybe african violets, tho i did have 1 once before and killed it, even tho i was trying to follow directions and even had a bottle of it's own special plant food made up.

either way i will let ya's know what i end up with and how it goes.

I've been thinking of you. I'm so glad you are back. I hope you sign up for the christmas card list. I definitely want your address so I can send you a card.

I can't wait to hear about all you have been doing. I guess you finally beat that computer game into submission lol.

I'll tell ya what, I'm going to need a mini vacation from work to play a few days.. I have very little time now with my commute to do much besides make dinner, get online for an hour or so and then crash out. >.<
