HI, All!

Haven't been here in a while. Hope everyone is well. DH bought DD a puppy for her b-day, and we built a chicken coop and got 16 chickens, so I've been pretty busy! The chickens are cranking out 'mulch' materials pretty quick. Every time I clean their house, I have a huge wheelbarrow load of 'enhanced hay' for the garden beds. Being a proponent of the 'lasagna' method of gardening, this works great. I have modified the process a little bit though, because peat moss is so darn expensive here. Cukes and tomatoes are doing great. Put in some eggplant today, along with a butterfly garden. Herb garden is going nuts. Love that chicken doo!
