Having problems with my plants wanted to use artificial lighting to help them out. Dont want to spend the money on a grow light, but was rather thinking of a full spectrum flourescent light. It simulates natural daylight, full spectrum UVA light, Color Rendering Index of 98 and a color temperature of 6500 Kelvin. Do you think this would work?

Yes I have some tomatoes and my golden ball cactus indoors under a 4 foot flourecent light for winter. What I did was went to lowes and bought the two pack of warm flourecent light and the two pack of cool flourecent light bulbs and alternated them and eveything is doing great.
