We had a good day with turkey, fixings and a butter cream covered marble cake from the bakery in town (DD bought me the cake) It was delicious. My mom gave me money to buy 'decent' clothes  (apparently she doesn't like my clearance buys)..DD and Madisson bought me a nice dressy Fall jacket..and DH bought me a new sewing machine(spending money he shouldn't have but I love it) DD took the pictures of my bday with her camera and my cord wouldn't work to upload them but I took a pic of the sewing machine on mine this morning..I just have to share. It's for quilting, it has the long table attachment with all the fancy stitches, apparently it needs special bobbins though that they didn't carry here(Canadian WalMart)...might have to torment Carol to do a little pick up for me (I'll send the money)..I like having lots of bobbins. ![[Linked Image]](http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u104/tamara-carey/101_1703.jpg)

Oh Tamara, how exciting! What a beautiful sewing machine he bought for you! A Brother is always so reliable, too, and that seems like a particularly useful one also. Handsome, too! If you need help w/ the bobbins, just let me know!  Your feast sounds like it was yummy... particularly that cake!

Tam, when you have a chance to read through your machine's specifications, PM me w/ the details about the bobbins. Then I will stick that in my billfold to take w/ me on my shopping expeditions! I'll be a woman w/ a mission!!

Yep--I wrote it down too---we will fix her up, huh Merme- I just finished peeling & cutting up the rest of the apples for sauce. My Right hand really hurts as since the last apples were so small I could not use my hand corer. I have stopped to eat lunch & visit with you guys for a bit. after lunch I will peel enough apples for a few pies. I will do the rest tomorrow, when I come back home from doing my MIL's paper work.
