When Maxi and I were planning the Washington trip, we contacted many forum members to ask if they might be able to join us there. Unfortunately, none of the members from Florida to Maryland could meet up with us for one reason or another! That was too bad, really.

So, we content ourselves with phone calls and mailed letters when we want to be in touch.

What do you do? Calls? Mailed letters? Quick visits?

Long distance rates are awful here but I used to write letters

Now it's mainly just computer chats and messages.

Rates are 19 cents a minute here---that is when they remember to charge me.....
But yes, Letters, phone & computer contact.

I was just telling my DH last night how I would like to meet you guys but that everyone was so scattered.........(see he was asking me where I would like to go for a mini vacation)

I use Skype computer to computers is free. Have talked to Crazy Franny that way

It's been a long time since anyone had a reason to post in here...I don't either, really, but just wanted to say
something.

I have had the total joy, over the years, of meeting Mr Bill, Diane and her sister Jayhawk, JimmyV, Cindy Faye, and her Rachel and Brennan. We've kept in touch through phone calls, computer, email, and letters. Because money is a big problem, I feel so blessed! There are so many others I've often wished I could meet. It gets to be like family on here and when you get to meet someone, and even get to more than once, which I have, it isn't like meeting a stranger because you already know them. It is such a pleasure and fun.

I think those of you who have actually met one another are so blessed. I would give a whole lot to meet many if not all of you that I have come to know on this forum.
My Jerusalem Cherry getting white fly was one of the luckiest things that has ever happened to me.
This forum & the people in it, are so important to me. I feel closer to may of you than I do many poeple that are here where I live.


I am not a jealous person, and am generally glad when people I know get something or are having good fortune, but I am sure envious of my sister who goes yearly up to Wisconsin for a greet & meet with a group of friends that she has in one of her "groups" (read forum sites) as she calls them.


If money were not an issue, I would be making a list of who I would meet & when---& then doing so. :wink:

And, as Diane has said, Thank God for the internet......

You guys! I would come back again in a heart beat!!! Someday, when I can get some money out of my husband (Didn't give me any this Christmas or Anniversary like he always has.
