I just got to thinking about the directions on the april cross white radishes. It said to plant two weeks before the last frost. So since I want to plant some every two weeks or so should I stick them in the refrigerator to sprout and then stick them outside? Or will they be fine if I just plant them outside?

I planted radishes at the begining of April right into the garden bed and they were one of the first things to come up. I also started the vegies way to early for colorado. We had snow and cold temps and they are thriving. I planted them in clusters. I think you should be fine to start them outside. Also what do you think it means when they say on the packaging to plant every two weeks or so through out the growin season ? Is it because once you pluck them from the ground that is it no more radishes until you plant again ?

Yes that's what they mean. Each seed produces one radish and that is all.

My questions is weather they will sprout if they don't get a cold spell once they are planted.

Do you think you will get any more cold spells where you are? I think you will be fine ! I also think they prefer to be planted directly in soil because they don't really like to be transplanted???? I have not heard of sprouting in the fridge thats a great idea for things that like it cold. That probably was not very helpful good luck anyway.

I understand what you were asking now, I can't imagine that the radishes would need a cold spell to grow them all summer long. I would sow them right into the ground.
