I saved some seeds and want to plant some trees. I have questions!!!

I read that fall is the time to do it and I should score the seeds... okay, got it.

Depth for peach pit and cherry pit to be planted?

How far apart should I put these seeds?

How much sun do they need each day?

Anything else I should know?

More questions. Are you planning on potting them? And keeping them indoors for winter?
Plant the seeds about an inch under the soil. Keep the soil as evenly moist as possible. Lots of light is good as they sprout and grow. You can put about four of each in a one gallon pot and transplant into their own gallon pots as they get their first set of true leaves.
Good luck!

Hmmmmm.... I was hoping I could just start them straight in the ground and they would lie dormant until spring. Is this not the case? I'm not sure I have enough light indoors for it to work. I do have a grow-light, but keeping up with that all winter seems daunting!

Give it a try outdoors. I direct sow most things outside but I do not have your climate to deal with. I do try to mark the areas sown so I don't mess up and 'weed' my own plants.
Direct sowing is how Mother Nature does it.
