These are Italian Plum Tomatoes.
The plants look good, the fruit looks good, but when I cut the fruit in half the seeds are black, any ideas?

One thing that can cause this is when the seeds begin to go beyond the point of full ripeness and actually begin the process leading to germination. Some tomato varieties have this tendency more than others, and it's not unheard of to actually have sprouting seeds inside when you slice a tomato.
There could be other reasons for black seeds, but regardless, it shouldn't hurt anything unless there's a slight off flavor or texture to the seeds.

I was interested in the answers for this because I haven't a clue. In stone fruits I have run into an occasional one that the seed had begun to sprout within the fruit. But I have never seen blackening.
