My Bamboo seems to have a few yellow leaves. What is causing that?

Here are some pictures:

yeah u can tell by the pot that it is dry ......bamboo grows well in the wild in low lying wet areas .....you need to water it daily ......you can trim the yellow leaves off with no harm at all to the plant ......

Okay, thanks.

The Bamboo has lots of root space since I repoted it in a big pot. It even has new growth arriving.

I will water it a bit more. But, wont this make the bamboo rot if overwatered.

its not unusal for bamboo to grow in just water and rocks, though the water should be changed semi regularily

My bamboo lives almost fully submerged in my fishtank and I've never had any problems with it, so I wouldn't worry about too much water for this one! =D

My bamboo and ginger lily [Hedychium coronarium] are both grown in the same fish tank and doing just fine.
