I have attached (or inserted...whichever the case may be) a picture of the base of one of my zucchini plants. It's awful looking. Luckily, my other one has shown no signs of whatever this is...yet.

Can anyone tell me what it is? Or what's wrong with it? Do I need to get it away from my other right as soon as possible? It has not produced any fruit, while the other plant has been somewhat prolific.

Thank you in advance from a newb on this board!
Heather
