Started to spot these bugs and wondering if I have some new pest to play war with.
1st bug ...little black thing on my taters.
I have a few leaves with pin holes in them but not enough to worry about unless it's going to get worse from this little critter...if he is the guilty one.

Bug 2 ... tiny little black bug..a tick bigger then the above bug with yellow markings on his wings

Never seen those before, we have potato bugs here we have to pick...and honestly you never see them anywhere else.. but plant a potato in the middle of no where and out comes the striped beetle.

I have also seen this bug here in Idaho. The first I found in a cucumber root about a month ago. There was also a post in here about unseen bugs turning zucchini leaves to lace. Whatever it is finished with my zucchini moved on to marigolds. I always believed if you keep marigolds in your garden bugs stay away. well whatever bug attacking hasn't touched anything but zucchini and marigold leaves sven doesn't seam to do any good either. any idea's???????

Yes!

Dusting the plants with food grade diatomaceous earth will help control flea beetles; or use spray solutions containing garlic, hot pepper, mint or neem.
