Here's a little something to use up those extra/old plastic potters.

I was looking around to come up with some type of collar for the spud containers to get a bit more out of them before letting them grow out.

Along the way I came up with this ..., it also can be used for a way to get your potter off the ground .

1ST match up 2 potters that are the same , then take and cut one like this.

Then one like this..

Now put the 2nd one on top of the 1st right side up, now you have a pedestal to get the potter off the ground . You can skip the 2nd potter cutting and just set your planted pot on top of the 1st...should fit inside.

They fit nice and snug if you have the 2 same potters fitting together.
Be careful with the potters , some can be brittle from weather exposure and can crack easy when cutting. You don't want any cracks or they might travel as the wt is put on it .

Now what to do with those cut out bottoms???
Drill a few holes in them and drop them in the bottom of a planter for extra water drainage screens grin

Not sure if this will work for the tater collars...bit small , but im going to try one .
