So I purchased some purple passion fruit vines and plan to plant them this weekend. Any tips/ experiences with passion fruit? taste? Can or cannot be grown around any specific type of plant?

Thanks.

Sorry I missed this. Just get them planted, they actually like poor soil, so don't fertilize or amend the soil. Don't plant in clay.
i love the flavor, but some object to all the seeds. I know of no plants they can't be planted with, but give them something to climb.

They grow wild here in florida on my families mango grove. I dont object to them, but i definitely don't like how well they grow.

Passion fruit vine is a very vigorous and fast growing plant. It climbs up any support, readily and rapidly, and they climb as high as they can. Passion fruit vine prefers a frost free climate and need protection from the wind. It grows in any kind of soil but make sure that it gets excellent drainage and It needs a very regular water supply always. Purple passion fruit is sweeter, it has a smooth, thick, pithy rind, filled with sweet aromatic pulp and seeds. So plant them and enjoy the fruit.

It tastes sweet. Can grow in any kind of soil, just do not fertilize them. water them regularly. As it is a climbers arrange a place where it can climb without any disturbance.
