I am trying to cross breed a wild rose with a tea rose, both have similar shaped flowers, I want to breed wild for it toughness, and tea rose for it's color.

Could i put a plastic bag over the budding "mother" plant so no pollen gets in it when it opens, and then rub multiple "father" flowers on it so the pollen gets on the mother flower, than put the bag back on to make sure the pollen stays in it.

Pink would be "mother" plant, white would be "father"

The flowers look like this, and the pollen comes off very easily.
