Hello all...

I just bought a 3" potted yellow shasta daisy from Perfect plant on line. The plant has two 12 inch shoots with a bud on each. Before I plant it should I cut it down or pinch it to get more flowers this season?

Thank you
Nancy

No! Since it already has buds if you cut off the stems it probably won't produce any more buds this year. It will spread out and be fuller in the years to come. You can deadhead the faded blooms (once it does bloom) and that may help to keep it blooming longer.
