Today I watched an information show on how to keep your dogs from digging in your garden beds.

First, you line the outer edges with rocks/stones of the same general kind so all the lines look similar.

Next, you walk your dog to the line of rocks, give him the command to stop, pet him, give him a treat and do it again. Give him plenty of rewards every time he stops at the rocks. Soon he will know not to cross over any place you have surrounded w/ rocks.

Next, if you have space, make a dirt mound some place inconspicuous in your yard. In this mound, right below the surface, add some of your dogs treats. Let him dig here and find his treats. The thinking here is that it is better to give him an official place to dig than to be constantly chasing him from digging everywhere else.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.
