Hi there -

We purchased a house a year or so ago that has an established garden with many camelias and rhododendrons. Most of them are very healthy but a few are having issues and I've found conflicting things online about how to fix the problems and not sure what to do.

All the camelias are in a row on our yard - i would expect soil and moisture conditions be similar. however, one of the camelias has brown leaves and looks thin and not healthy. I am attaching a couple pictures. It is between two larger trees and Im wondering whether its due to lack of sun? Another one has yellow leaves and looks unhealthy. It is planted very close to another camelia which is doing great. I am attaching a couple pictures of that one too. Finally - one of the rhodies looks terrible, although it does have flowers and already bloomed this season. It is right next to another rhodie that is doing great (maybe too close?). Attaching pictures of that one too. Any thoughts about how to fix these issues would be great!!

thanks so much!

maybe root rot. Does your hose or faucet leak? Could something have been sprayed in the area (herbicide, pesticide, etc), it could be getting impacted by that.
