Anyone have any special plans or traditions they'd like to share? Did you get your Easter shopping finished?

I have been buying Easter goodies while they are out on the shelves. I will give Ted the little toys that I got for him and Jonni will get her chocolate bunny but the rest will go to some neighbor kids. I love kid stuff!
We won't be doing much else.

Our anniversary falls on Easter this year so I think maybe we'll just go out for supper. I still have to buy chocolate for a few kiddies and send DD some money as well.

Well, I will be malingt Easter Dinner, as I have stated in the recipe section.

Ham is on the menu now--and a Turkey breat I think.

I have never stopped making my kids and their "boys" easter Baskets. Making these baskets is my gift to myself, as I so enjoy doing it.

I am more select on what type of candy I buy now, with each getting mainly somethuign they love , Like my Emily gets Reeses & my Valarie gets caramel.

Then I put a small gift in each basket, & sometimes a few dollars in a card.
This year Emily will get a topsy turvey so she can grow a tomato plant and Valarie will get a wireless mouse. ( The Mouse was a free be I got when I resigned my contract for my media bundle.

We will go to church together then come back home and I will prepare the meal.
My girls, my mom & dad & possibly my brother & his family will come as well.
and oh my MIL, of course.

Bless you.

I have just finished making the baskets---now all is left is wrapping Em's Tospy turvy, paying for Brian's candy, (Val will pick it out for me) and deciding what to have for the meal.

All rabbits eaten here are wild..no one grows them for sale.

They are the size of a cat...I don't eat rabbit either...I detest wild meat.

Mmmm, your meal sounds delicious.
