teach Don't be afraid to post comments about why you voted the way you did, or just to add your input about things you'd like to have on TGH!

I changed the Wooden background pages to include the dropdown navigation bar (along with a couple other page changes)

Mr. James, sir... for some reason Junie Girl and probably many others don't see the reply set of buttons. If I log out, I can't see them either. I set all the permissions so even guests could vote and comment on this topic. I'm sure that a genius of you magnitude will flip the appropriate switch and then rightfully laugh haha at your poor old Pop. rspb
On the other hand we all know what can happen if I start touching stuff blush

It is fixed now. I voted through three different changes you made. I think you are doing a good job.
I voted against most of the slide shows. I have DSL but for some reason slide shows tend to bog down my computer and make it run slower. I have to reboot to get back up to speed.
I voted that I like the woven background page best but I wanted to say that the option buttons on the left were a little dark and hard to see on that page.

yep, it is fixed. and I am so ahppy for that. I thank you both. thumbup

I voted pretty much like Tina did. except that I do not care for her slide show reason. I do not care for slide shows when I am researching something or wanting to learn.

I dont mind it, but it is possible that a lighter tan might allow the purple words to stand out more. why

I like your buttons and really they are fine as is.
very nicely done & easy to understand.
I was just saying that a lighter backround & a dark font makes it easier on my "older" eyes. egad lol

but I realize everything cannot be the same color.

your best bet would be to ignore me when figuring what to do & how.

teach This poll is now closed!
As always, thank you all for your input! I learned many things that I was unaware or oblivious to.
For the moment, I lightened up the background color of the buttons on the 'Wooden style' pages and the 'Woven style' pages. The entire concept of my button links will be changing drastically soon. I added the 'drop down navigation' bar to the 'Wooden' pages.
The Ving Plants page is also the first page to have the slide show replaced with a linked photograph. I'll leave the slide shows on a dozen pages or so, but replace the rest with photos. On my computer the slide shows load instantly so I just assumed.... blush This was the best thing I learned from the poll. This will be a priority fix. thumbup
Feel free to start another comment topic, or I will as soon as there are any significant changes.
