I collected some wild
rose seeds and was wondering is there a way to speed up the process of germination?
I took some Kentucky Coffetree
seeds which supposedly only germinate after being eaten, then excreted in waste.
I cut a tiny slit in the main
seed casing (scarification) which revealed the
seed inside, sandpapered it a bit, then let it soak for 24 hours in hot water to soften the
seed, then planted it and it sprouted weeks later indoors.
Could I use sandpaper or scarify the
rose seed then soak it in hot water for 24 hours before planting it?
